Meditative Movement as a Path for Holy Listening (In-Person Program)

Saturday, July 19, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm EDT

“This is definitely one of the best programs I’ve taken part in. Beth was well-prepared, knew her subject and communicated extremely well. She was welcoming and allowed plenty of time for us to get to know one another. We experienced the perfect combination of facilitator, topic and participants. It was a deeply meaningful afternoon for me and, by all accounts, for everyone present. Please encourage Beth to facilitate more programs!”- Kathy Shaw

“A gentle day of heart-filled presence. Nothing needed to be changed or improved.” – A 2024 Participant

We are excited to welcome back Spiritual Companion and Retreat Facilitator, Beth Wood-Roig, for another session of Meditative Movement as a Path for Holy Listening.

Spiritual traditions throughout the ages have understood that our bodies are truly wonderful sources for deep and holy listening. When we are tuned into and listening deeply to our physical bodies, we connect with our holy source, however that is defined for each of us. But in these chaotic and stressful times, it is sometimes easy to miss, forget or even ignore the messages our bodies are sending that signal something is out of balance. Learning to listen again and how to respond to these messages are important skills for all of us to practice. During our day together, we will explore various forms of movement, sometimes meditative, sometimes silly, hopefully fun, and ever surprising, to help us hone our listening and responding skills with our bodies.

There will also be time and space for personal contemplation and practice, as well as group reflection and sharing. Weather permitting, we may spend some time outside at the beautiful Well property so please dress appropriately.

No prior experience is needed, just basic mobility. All movements can be modified for any fitness level. Please bring your own bag lunch. Please don’t hesitate! This program is limited to 10 participants.
