This could be life changing.” – Mary Beth J. \nLocal author Lindsey Pope—writer of four children’s books\, speaker\, workshop leader\, and busy mom—brings her passion for love\, laughter\, and healing to this creative writing program. \nIn this workshop\, Lindsey will guide us on a journey to begin writing our own children’s book. We will explore the components of a children’s book and learn how to outline the story. Practical tools and reflective writing prompts will support the process\, and throughout the session\, Lindsey will share how writing for children can be a profoundly therapeutic way to help heal your younger self. \nWrite the book you needed to read when you were young! She also enjoys speaking and leading interactive workshops related to mental health and writing. Lindsey truly loves connecting with people and inspiring others to chase their dreams as she has been fortunate enough to do just that.

How do we live with radical kindness? How do we see that love is the light inside everything? \nExplore the tenderness\, grit\, and grace of love. We’ll draw from Father Gregory Boyle’s recent book\, Cherished Belonging: The Healing Power of Love in Divided Times\, to gain bold\, new perspectives\, practical insight\, and deepen our compassion. Join us to help build the loving community we long to live in. There is no need to read the book (but you might enjoy it!). \nWomen at the Well is a spiritual companioning program open to all women seeking space to listen for\, become more aware of\, and respond to the Divine in their daily lives. Thank you! \nFACILITATORS: Maggie Lears and Donna Mollenkopf \nFACILITATOR BIOS:\nMaggie Lears:\nMaggie recently retired from the faculty of Towson University and is delighted to increase her time spent at Well for the Journey. She is a certified intuitive practitioner and has been involved with the Well for over a decade volunteering in several circles and facilitating workshops exploring mindfulness\, meditation\, intuitive eating\, and the chakra energy system. \n\n \nDonna Mollenkopf:\nDonna is a Women at the Well facilitator and curriculum writer\, as well as leader of various other programs at the Well. A former Well board member\, she has experience as a retreat leader\, pilgrimage guide\, and small group leader. Donna is the co-author of two books on spirituality and is an active member of her Lutheran church. A graduate of Shalem’s Soul of the Executive program\, Donna values a contemplative stance. She is married\, mother of a grown son\, two grown stepsons\, and a happy grandmother.
