SUMMARY:Group Spiritual Direction: Listening for the Sacred Together (In-Person with online sessions in winter)
DESCRIPTION:“I have been a part of this group for two years. Once a month\, I find respite in my busy life to connect with the divine as I understand it. Cathy holds a container that allows for deep reflection in community with other spiritual seekers.” – Rev. Karyn Marsh \n________________________________________________________ \n“We are all just walking each other home.” \n– Rumi \nDo you yearn for a deeper connection to God\, Spirit\, the Divine? Perhaps you sense an inkling that there is something more wanting to be explored – whether you come from a formal faith tradition or none at all. \nGroup Spiritual Direction (GSD) offers a safe\, sacred space for individuals to gather in community\, slow down\, and listen deeply—for the movement of the Spirit in their lives and in each other. Unlike therapy or problem-solving groups\, spiritual direction is a contemplative practice rooted in the belief that the Divine is already present and available in each person’s journey. \nIn this group\, faith traditions vary in formality and intensity\, some may have none\, and their name for God may differ\, but all are deeply committed to exploring their spiritual paths and supporting the spiritual journeys of each group member. The intent is not to ‘fix’ or advise\, but to listen attentively\, and as members caringly share what they feel and hear\, they help each other look\, with a finer lens\, at their own spiritual relationship. Gently guided by long-time Spiritual Director\, Cathy Rosensteel\, the group cultivates compassion\, connection\, and clarity\, helping each person notice the movement of Spirit in their lives. \nSeptember through November and March through May\, Cathy’s group starts their time together with a few minutes of conversation in the kitchen at Well for the Journey. During the colder months\, December – February\, they gather on Zoom from the coziness of their homes. When at the Well\, the group transitions from the kitchen to the living room to form a contemplative\, confidential and sacred listening circle. Using the GSD process formed at the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington\, DC.\, Cathy invites the group with an opening reflection from a variety of sources\, such as\, Scripture\, poetry\, texts\, and/or prose and a time of gentle silence. When ready\, members share a response flowing from their deep listening and curiosity. This simple format\, repeated throughout each session\, invites meaningful conversation and deepening. The session closes with the sharing of prayer intentions. \nWhether you’re seeking a deeper relationship with the Sacred by whatever name\, navigating a life transition\, in need of discernment\, curious about that nagging inkling\, or simply yearning to be seen and heard in a soulful way\, GSD provides a space for deep listening\, soulful reflection\, and support for your unfolding path. \nIf you would like to join Cathy’s group or simply want to know more\, please contact the Well at 410-296-9355 or email us at programming@wellforthejourney.org. Please provide your name and phone number and Cathy will be in touch to discuss your interest. \n________________________________________________________ \n\n“I have been a member of Cathy’s spiritual direction group since the fall of 2020. Each session I jot down what speaks to me. Recently I went back and typed up my notes and then created this word cloud. Every session sparks deeper thinking and honest reflection for me. I look forward to our gathering each month.” – Becky Boynton \n \nDATES (In-Person at the Well): Saturdays – 9/13\, 10/11\, 11/8/25 and 3/14\, 4/11\, 5/9/26 \nDATES (Online via Zoom): Saturdays – 12/13/25 and 1/10\, 2/14/26 \nTIME: 8:30 – 11:30 AM \nCOST: $250 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 and ZOOM \nTO REGISTER: Please contact the Well at 410-296-9355 or email us at programming@wellforthejourney.org.  We will put you in touch with Cathy so that you may chat and determine if  this program is a mutual fit.  Once that happens and if you’d like to move forward\, we will provide you with a sign up link. \nFACILITATOR: Cathy Rosensteel \nFACILITATOR BIO:\nCathy facilitates group spiritual direction in the Shalem tradition at The Well. She has an M.A. in Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Care from Loyola University Maryland. Kindled by a week-long silent Ignatian retreat\, she developed a deep appreciation for silence and the Spiritual Exercises. Furthering her interest\, she completed the 19th Annotation of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life. Her work in this area includes leading retreats on finding silence in everyday living and walking the labyrinth. Through private practice\, Cathy is honored to provide individual spiritual direction in the Middle River and Towson areas. \nCathy’s background includes teaching teacher education candidates and directing the Special Education programs at Loyola University Maryland. She also had a notable career developing innovative programs for students with special needs\, as a teacher and administrator with the Baltimore City Public School System. \nDrawn to the outdoors\, Cathy treasures time at home on Seneca Creek with her husband and dog. She enjoys designing engraved affirmation stones\, gardening\, and swimming. Often\, she can be found happily reading\, near or in a body of water\, or just sitting\, very still.

SUMMARY:Anam Cara – A Soul Care Group for Spiritual Caregivers (Online Program - Morning Group)
DESCRIPTION:“I have appreciated having a space with people\, colleagues…The ability to walk and journal\, having that time carved out so other things don’t get in the way of it is helpful.” – Rev Andy McClain\n \n“I needed a community where I could be myself as an African American woman…Our Anam Cara group became the place where I could be just that. Authenticity and integrity seemed to be primary values for the group from the first time I entered.” – Rev. Freda Marie Brown\n \n“…I loved the opportunity to share new thoughts and ideas as I underwent my own spiritual transformation. I loved the openness and the refreshing way we all supported each other’s voices\, accepting with interest and love whatever was being offered\, without judgement.  – Rev. Freda Marie Brown\n \nI value opportunities for creativity\, contemplation\, and connection…and for curiosity about how it goes with each participant: How goes retirement? How goes vocational discernment? How goes caring for loved ones? How goes raising children?” – Rev. Clare Petersberger\n \n“Our Anam Cara gatherings remind me to mark the time through the changing seasons of the year and of our lives with soul friends. For all of these are holy things we will not\, cannot\, find again.” – Rev Clare Petersberger\n  \nCaring for others can be deeply meaningful—and deeply depleting. For ministers\, chaplains\, spiritual companions\, and others who offer soul care\, the act of holding sacred space for others can come at the cost of your own spiritual nourishment. The Well’s Anam Cara (Soul Friend) Group is a space created just for you—a place to receive the care you regularly encourage for others – soul care. \nThis small group\, sacred community welcomes spiritual caregivers (active\, retired\, or on sabbatical) to rest\, reflect\, and be. There are no roles to fill or responsibilities to carry. Here\, you are invited to water your own soul\, speak freely or remain silent\, and simply show up as you are—without judgment or expectation. \nWe are honored to welcome back Cecilia Amaral as facilitator for another year of Anam Cara. Cecilia has a deep commitment to encourage others to nurture authentic and thriving relationships with themselves\, others\, and their environments. Cecilia brings extensive experience working with spiritual caregivers and clergy from many faith traditions on an individual basis\, in groups\, and with denominational staff. She is uniquely gifted in holding space for those navigating the weight and complexity of spiritual companionship and leadership today. \nDue to high interest\, we are delighted to offer two online groups this year! Both groups will meet on the first Monday of the month\, October through June (with adjustments for holy days and holidays\, as needed): \n\nMorning Group – 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM ET (This website page you are reading right now is for the morning group!)\nEvening Group – 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM ET\n\n\nEach session follows a spacious rhythm: \n\nA check-in time with one another\nA reflection prompt offered by Cecila\n30 minutes of quiet\, off-screen personal reflection\nOptional sharing and a closing blessing\n\n\nCome be part of one of these nurturing circles. Let this be a season where your soul is tended with the same compassionate soul care you offer others. \nPlease Note: This registration is for the Morning Sessions. \nDATES: Mondays – 10/6\, 11/3\, 12/1/25 and 1/5\, 2/2\, 3/2\, 4/6\, 5/4\, 6/1/26 \nTIME: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM ET \nCOST: $95 \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. If you are unable to find the email\, please check your SPAM or JUNK email folders. This email will include details to help you prepare for your program including any pertinent handouts\, location information\, and the ZOOM link for online programs. Please be sure you have received and read this email a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the start of the program. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Cecilia Amaral \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nCecilia Amaral has a deep commitment to encourage others to nurture authentic and thriving relationships with themselves\, others\, and their environments. Her decision to retire after more than 25 years as a Pastoral Psychotherapist and Educator has transitioned into her current practice as Spiritual Director and Certified Professional Life Coach. Cecilia’s integrated approach in companioning others on their journey leads to meaningful\, personal\, and relational transformation. \nCecilia began her involvement with the mission of the Well by referring clients to use the programs offered for their well-being. This evolved into her service as a board member\, Board Chair\, Circle Chair\, and Spiritual Guide to the Board of Directors.

SUMMARY:Yoga Nidra: A Guided Meditation Practice (Online Program)
DESCRIPTION:I love Jamila’s facilitation\, pace\, tone of voice\, and giftedness in leading this practice. I ALWAYS feel better after the sessions and have a good and restful sleep that night. – Lorie Conway \nWonderful session with Jamila! She is a fantastic facilitator and I truly enjoy her content and delivery. Very healing experience! – Toni Rasmussen \nThe program is not designed to foster active engagement because it is meditative\, but does give a strong sense that all participants are in community together for the meditation experience. The facilitator is warm and welcoming. – Katie Bass \nThank you Jamila for holding such a sacred space for us. The rhythm and tone of your voice aided in helping move into that “twilight” space of Yoga Nidra. Thank you! – Past Participant \nYoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that helps to relax the mind and body by doing “nothing.” This ancient practice produces a profound state of rest and relaxation simply by listening. \nOne hour of Yoga Nidra is said to be as restorative as four hours of sleep. As the mind slows down\, the whirlwind of thoughts holding our attention begin to move away from us as we float in the space between waking and sleeping. As you disengage from stress-producing thoughts\, the body\, mind\, and spirit begin to rest and heal naturally. Modern research continues to affirm the benefits of Yoga Nidra\, showing significant reductions in anxiety\, stress\, and depression after guided mediation. Many participants report improved sleep\, a deep sense of calm\, and renewed energy. \nResting comfortably in your own home\, the practice can be done lying down or in a seated position with your feet up. All you have to do is listen. Suggestions for your comfort include: \n\nA quiet place to lie down or recline\nA pillow for your head and under your knees\nA blanket and socks for warmth\nIf desired\, an eye mask or pillow to block light\nA glass of water nearby\n\n\nThe Well is delighted to continue offering this deeply healing and restorative practice in collaboration with certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide\, Yoga Instructor\, and I Am Yoga Nidra Facilitator\, Jamila Keita. If you are new to meditation\, have never tried or been successful at meditation\, or are just curious about yoga without any yoga poses\, we encourage you to give Yoga Nidra a try. You will be amazed at how easily you will achieve a meditative state with Jamila’s gentle guidance and soothing voice. \nNew This Season – Never Miss A Session! Each Yoga Nidra session will be recorded. The sessions are being offered twice a month on a Monday and Tuesday evening. A link to the recording will be emailed to registered participants the following day and will be available for three (3) days. You can listen as often as you like until the link expires after 3 days. \nGive yourself (and maybe a loved one!) the gift of deep rest and relaxation. Your body\, mind\, and spirit will thank you! \n\n  \nDATES: Mondays – 9/15\, 10/13\, 11/10\, 12/1/25 and Tuesdays – 9/30\, 10/28\, 11/18\, 12/16/25 \nTIME: 7:30 – 8:30 PM ET \nCOST: $20 \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. My name is Evangeline “Jamila” Keita. I’ve been practicing yoga for almost 25 years and decided to teach yoga as my “retirement job.” It was during my yoga training (YT200) that I was introduced to Yoga Nidra. Immediately after completing YT200 in 2014\, I took my first Yoga Nidra training. Since that time\, I’ve taken subsequent trainings in Yoga Nidra in 2017 and 2021. I love this practice. \nDuring the shutdown\, I found “nature therapy.” This led me to complete a course through “The Kripalu School of Outdoor Leadership” and become a KMOG (Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide). \nI currently teach two yoga classes per week on Zoom. Each class includes poses and a short Yoga Nidra session. Since 2022\, I have provided weekly Yoga Nidra sessions for Hopewell Cancer Support Center and occasional Mindful Outdoor Experiences (MOEs). Additionally\, I work for Nature Worx\, a non-profit that provides MOEs to persons in recovery and the general public. \nI never imagined this second career as it is\, but it seems like a natural evolution to me. I hope you enjoy my offerings.

SUMMARY:Horizons Men's Group 2025-2026 (In-Person)
DESCRIPTION:Most men do not feel they can talk freely about their spiritual journey. At Well For The Journey\, we feel differently. The Horizons Men’s Group at the Well is a place where honest conversations take place about how we live out our spirituality uniquely as men in the world – within our daily living. \nGreg Cochran\, Executive Director at the Well\, has been facilitating Horizons for over ten years. Past discussions have explored a wide range of topics including the deconstruction and reconstruction of faith\, navigating the first and second halves of life\, spirituality and imperfection\, why do bad things happen to good people\, what is Truth\, and what can we learn from other faith traditions – just to name a few! \nThis season\, the wisdom of Parker Palmer will inform our conversation through two of his books: \nA Hidden Wholeness: The Journey Toward an Undivided Life – explores the concept of living an “undivided life”—where one’s inner truth aligns with their outer actions and roles. \nLet Your Life Speak: Listening for the Voice of Vocation – explores what it means to find one’s true calling by deeply listening to one’s inner self and aligning with one’s authentic nature\, emphasizing that vocation isn’t a specific job title\, but rather a way of living authentically and embracing our unique gifts and limitations. \nDue to high interest\, we are pleased to offer two monthly groups this year – both graciously led by Greg! The Tuesday evening group will meet in-person at the Well and the Thursday evening group will meet online via Zoom. \nIf you are looking for a community where difficult questions are welcomed and explored from the unique perspective of male spirituality\, we have a place for you in Horizons. \nThis registration is for the in-person session on Tuesday evenings. \nDATES: Tuesdays – 10/14\, 11/18\, 12/16/25\, and 1/20\, 2/17\, 3/17\, 4/21\, 5/19\, and 6/9/26 \nTIME: 7:00 – 8:30 PM \nCOST: $200 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. SUMMARY:SOLD OUT: Sound Soul Weaving - A Seated Sound Bath Experience (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:This program has reached capacity and is no longer accepting new registrations.  We have created a wait list should someone not be able to attend in December.  In addition\, there are three upcoming Sound Soul Weavings already accepting registrations in the new year – February 15\, April 12 & June 14.  Sign up now so you don’t miss out! \n\nThe practice of sound bathing has gained popularity recently but is actually a healing practice that is thousands of years old with deep roots in cultures around the world. Jenny Ehrhardt has been facilitating sound offerings for several years\, incorporating her first love as an herbalist into all that she offers. Integrating sound using crystal chakra bowls\, bells\, song\, and rattles with plants and sweetness from the earth\, opens our hearts and nourishes the soul for the healing of the world. What a perfect combination for the Well community and all who seek soul nourishment and healing for self and others! \nWe are thrilled to welcome Jenny back to the Well for another session of healing\, renewal and nourishment. Jenny will offer a time of stillness\, sacred listening\, reflection\, and alignment with spirit that invites us to take care of ourselves as well as send love and peace out into the world through our vibrations\, prayers and the collective spiritual intention of a sacred community. \nYou will be seated for this session which will begin with a time of introduction and honoring of each participant\, inviting plant spirit connection to our intentions/prayers and sound healing meditation. Healing sound helps break up trauma in the body and assists in releasing whatever no longer serves us. This is so important in our culture and world today. At the end of the session\, Jenny will share seasonal herbal tea and a sweet offering to help integrate and embody the experience. \nWe are thrilled that Jenny found the Well (literally in her own neighborhood!) and is sharing her gifts of love and presence now as part of the Well community. We invite you to join Jenny and trust this ancient healing process of soul sound weaving for the renewal of your body\, mind and spirit and the nourishment of your soul. \nPlease don’t delay! Sound Soul Weaving sessions at the Well sell out every time! \nDATE: Sunday\, December 14\, 2025 \nTIME: 1:30 – 3:30 PM \nCOST: $50 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 \nREGISTRATION is now closed.  A wait list is available here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Jenny Ehrhardt \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nI have been fortunate to work with two other women facilitating sound offerings on the Eastern Shore. I have seen so many beautiful effects this work has had on so many people\, including myself. I feel honored to be working with the bowls and other sounds to help connect us to something much deeper\, Ourselves. Working with all ages on many different levels\, I see the peace come over most people in a very surprising way. I have been called to create small\, intimate sound offerings right here in my hometown. I am grateful to have found Well for the Journey\, which has become such a sacred place for me. I work deeply with the plants as well and had a small shoppe in Hampden for over 10 years. I have been called to service and I love plants\, sound\, and people who are open to change and learning and being in a community without judgement. Pure Hearts\, I feel this at Well For the Journey and look forward to connecting more and sharing and learning through sound and the plants.

Please be sure you have received and read this email a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the start of the program. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Jenny Ehrhardt \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nOver the last 35 years my heart has been engaged with plants of all kinds. Even as a child we always had a huge garden. We grew everything. As my Dad shifted to loving roses and all flowers\, I know that just stayed with me. I worked for a small flower farmer\, landscaping\, and a service farm where everything we grew went directly to the Maryland Food Bank and other Kitchens throughout Baltimore (Garden Harvest). I worked for a Naturopathic Doctor and began to learn how to process plants into medicine and honestly have not looked back. \nMy go to has always been herbal medicine – “Kitchen Medicine” – using ingredients you may already have in your kitchen. Fire Cider is known by most herbalists as just that – the “people’s medicine.” A few years ago\, a company tried to trade mark that name and three herbalists\, including my teacher Rosemary Gladstar\, fought in court to keep corporate out of our kitchens! \nI feel so honored and humbled to work with the plants. For 15 years I worked at farmers markets and festivals selling fire cider and many other products that I created for 10 of those years. I had my very own Apothecary in Hampden\, serving my community with affordable herbal remedies and also offering a safe space for people to gather and learn. It was very important to me to meet people where they were on this herbal plant walk. It is a remembering\, an awakening to what our bodies and hearts already know if we listen closely to ourselves and keep it very simple. Those years were very full and somewhat hectic. Today I find I am so grateful to be able to slow down and watch the wonder on people’s faces when they start to remember plants and the memories that begin to rise up.

SUMMARY:Encounters with Angels: The Courage of Mary and Joseph (In-Person)
DESCRIPTION:Mary and Joseph each received a life-changing invitation from God—an encounter that disrupted their plans and called forth radical trust. Mary’s “Let it be” and Joseph’s quiet obedience reveal two different but equally profound ways of saying yes to the invitation. \nIn this Advent retreat\, we will enter into their stories and explore the courage and trust that shaped their responses. Together\, we will reflect on what it means for us to offer our own yes—whether in response to bold angelic announcements or to the quiet whispers of the Divine. In the company of Mary and Joseph\, we will attune our hearts and ears to the call of God in our lives\, considering how such a response can take shape in seasons of uncertainty\, upheaval\, or divine discontent. \nYou are warmly invited to join this day of retreat in sacred community at the Well. Our time together will include contemplative spiritual practices\, reflection\, periods of silence\, and opportunities for sharing in sacred community. A simple lunch of soup and bread will be provided. \nDATE: Saturday\, December 6\, 2025 \nTIME: 9:30am – 4:00pm \nCOST: $75\, includes lunch \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W.

SUMMARY:Journeying in Grief Through a Spiritual Lens: A Day-long Retreat in Autumn (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:“And once the storm is over\, you won’t remember how you made it through\, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure\, in fact\, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm\, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what the storm’s all about.” — Haruki Murakami\, Kafka on the Shore \nWith a spiritual lens\, grieving the losses of one’s life as a journey allows human beings to understand the healing process in stages\, with accompanying tasks\, and with needs that are both universal and unique. Yet\, there are multiple faces of grief and diverse ways of expressing them. Since experiencing the global pandemic\, grieving as we once knew it has changed in innumerable ways. And\, as we continue to emerge into this new era of living\, our engagement with loss — both as individuals and in communities — has been incredibly impacted. This can\, however\, empower us to acknowledge our emotions and reflect on our experiences spiritually\, so as to heal and move forward in healthy\, positive ways. In solidarity with each other\, we can take steps toward expanding our openness to the powerful transformation that these losses and our grief work can lead us to. \nJoin us at the Well for this day-long retreat as we gather together for deep listening\, dialogue\, and other meaningful exercises. Autumn is a season in which we often shift our awareness to our interior lives\, as our senses and spirits bear witness to a pronounced time of dying\, emptying\, and releasing. So\, with the framework of journeying and utilizing a spiritual lens\, this retreat will invite you to ritually express your grief in the presence of community. Various resources will be offered to uplift participants as they consider their respective stories and navigate personal and collective landscapes of loss. Attention will also be given to some of the sacred tasks inherent to grieving the death of loved ones as well as other significant changes and transitions. \nPlease bring a bag lunch and journey with us through the spiritual lens of grief. \nDATE: Saturday\, November 22\, 2025 \nTIME: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET \nCOST: Please choose the option that works best for you!
This email will include details to help you prepare for your program including any pertinent handouts\, location information\, and the ZOOM link for online programs.
Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. SUMMARY:Joyfully Honoring Ancestors and Other Beloveds: A Mosaic of Gratitude (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:I thought the whole experience was wonderful. The time spent exploring questions & haikus was so rich and helpful in preparing us for the experience of creating our mosaics. The guided meditation was also helpful in creating the pause I needed between what had gone before and what was to come. – Gwen Paduch \nIt was an excellent activity and afternoon. Everything was laid out for us. It was easy to follow instructions. I thought it was a great combination of activity\, reflection\, and interaction. The final product was beautiful and holds lots of meaning. – Anne Eikenberg \nThe program and Cinder\, as always\, far exceed my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the interactions that I had with others. Amazing day! – Past Participant \nI can’t think of anything to improve the experience. Cinder did a fantastic job of fitting so much into the time we had. I felt like I connected to all the participants and came away feeling very positive and centered – Anita \nFall’s poignancy and ritual shedding of leaves is a time that can bring grief closer for many. This joyful workshop honors the processes of grief and remembrance\, of letting go and holding on – wherever we may be in that vast field. It creates a vessel for group and individual contemplation\, self-expression\, and creation that provides quality time to remember and memorialize loved ones. \nWe will use a variety of creative practices and activities to remember\, share stories\, and communicate our love and appreciation for those who have left the earthly plane. Participants will engage in storytelling\, haiku writing\, and the design and creation of a colorful mosaic keepsake. Our conversations and sharing will help inspire us and quiet individual making time will enable everyone to appreciate and celebrate those we love. \nCommunity mosaic artist Cinder Hypki brings years of experience guiding groups in creative activities for celebration\, exploration and healing. She brings her mobile mosaic studio to the Well\, offering a sumptuous feast of materials for memorializing in mosaics. We are delighted to welcome Cinder back for her fifth mosaic offering at the Well. No prior experience with mosaics or any art form is required to participate. Cinder will guide every step of this joyful\, creative\, and life-giving process. \nTo learn more about Cinder and her amazing work\, please visit her at “Cinder Hypki – Artist” on Facebook. \n              \nDATE: Sunday\, November 16\, 2025 \nTIME: 1:00 – 5:00 PM \nCOST: $100 + $25 Supply Fee \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W.
SUMMARY:Who Do I Say That I Am?: It’s Time to Own My Own Story (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:“When we reject the single story\, when we realize that there is never a single story…we regain a kind of paradise”\n– Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie \nWe are more than a name\, title or circumstance. Jesus asks of Peter\, “Who do you say that I am?” How can we answer that same question for ourselves with authenticity? Who do we say that we are? Who better to answer the question than ourselves? \nThe novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie warns us about falling into the trap of a single story. Our life is not linear and what we share about our story can be multi-faceted. Others may be too quick at modifying\, erasing or at times de-valuing our story. As God’s beloved\, and with the rich community of this gathering\, we can start – or refuel – the process of owning our story. \nJoin experienced and gifted coach\, consultant\, author\, minister\, group and retreat leader\, Sandra Dorsainvil\, on this meaningful journey of owning your story. Through contemplative practices\, group conversations\, and journaling\, Sandra will invite your recognition of your story. You will then have an opportunity to write\, speak\, or creatively present your own story as led by Spirit in the safety of spiritual community. \nIt is up to us to own our story and speak it\, as we want it to be remembered. You are warmly welcomed to join Sandra and fellow seekers to ponder your story. Join us! \nDATE: Saturday\, November 1\, 2025 \nTIME: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM \nCOST: Early Bird Discount (purchased by 9/28/25) – $45; Regular Cost (purchased 9/29/25 and after) – $55 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W.
