B. Yeats \nSession 2: Exploring Death and Dying\nWe will gently explore what it means to acknowledge and accept death. Together we’ll reflect on presence\, living in the moment\, and how awareness of mortality can transform the way we live. \n“I never knew it [dying] could be so sweet… like candy or chocolate.”  — a recent client of Sam \nSession 3: Creativity\, Joy\, and Surprise\nPutting it all together: Cultivating joy\, spontaneity\, creativity\, gratitude\, and the wonderful surprises that rise up when we do so. \n“The object isn’t to make art\, it’s to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable.” — Robert Henri \nCome explore how creativity\, spirit\, and the awareness of our mortality can lead us toward a fuller\, more meaningful way of living. \nDATE(S): Mondays – October 5\, 12\, and 19\, 2026 \nTIME: 6:30 – 8:00 PM ET \nCOST: $90 \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required. SUMMARY:Aging as a Spiritual Practice: A Monthly Reflection Group (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:Aging invites us into deeper reflection\, meaning-making\, and connection. In this intimate small-group experience\, we will explore aging not simply as a stage of life\, but as a spiritual practice. \nArthur Starr is an experienced group facilitator and spiritual companion. Through thoughtfully offered open-ended questions\, Art will invite participants to reflect on their life journeys—the challenges they have faced or are facing now\, how they have overcome or adapted to them\, and the wisdom they have gained. Together\, we will consider how our perspectives on aging have evolved over time and how we envision the years ahead. \nThis gathering creates a respectful\, contemplative space for listening and sharing with contemporaries on the journey. Participants are invited to speak from their own experience and to listen deeply to others. \nThis group will gather on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Well\, beginning in October 2026 and ending in June 2027. You are welcome to come every month or as your schedule permits. You may choose to register each month\, or for your convenience\, you can register for all sessions at one time. \nCome as you are\, with your stories\, questions\, and wisdom\, and join others in honoring the spiritual dimensions of growing older. \nDATE: Fourth Tuesday of the Month – 10/27\, 11/24\, 12/22/26 and 1/26\, 2/23\, 3/23\, 4/27\, 5/25\, 6/22/2027 \nTIME: 1:00 – 2:00 PM \nCOST: $20 per session or $180 for all sessions \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W.
