SUMMARY:Horizons Men's Group - 2024-2025 (In-Person Program with Online Option)
DESCRIPTION:Most men do not feel they can talk freely about their spiritual journey. At the Well\, we feel differently. The Well’s Horizons Men’s Group is a place where honest conversations take place about how we live out our spirituality uniquely as men in the world – within our daily living. Past discussions have included the deconstruction and reconstruction of faith\, the first and second halves of life\, spirituality and imperfection\, why do bad things happen to good people\, and what can we learn from other faith traditions – just to name a few! \nThis season we will use Richard Rohr’s book\, Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life\, to help us enter a time of deeper conversations and a growing community. \nIf you are looking for a community where hard questions are welcomed and explored\, we have a place for you. Horizons meets on the third Tuesday of each month (October – June)\, from 7pm – 8:30pm. We will meet in-person with the option to “zoom in” for those who may not live close by or for those for whom “zooming” is more comfortable. Come check us out!\n\nDATE: Tuesdays – 10/15\, 11/19\, 12/17/24\, and 1/21\, 2/18\, 3/18\, 4/15\, 5/20\, and 6/17/25 \nTIME: 7:00 – 8:30 PM ET \nCOST: $195 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 and ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nCANCELLATION POLICY: Please read our cancellation policy\, here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from lorie@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. If you are unable to find the email\, please check your SPAM or JUNK email folders. SUMMARY:SOLD OUT: Sound Soul Weaving: Bridging\, Reflecting\, Discerning\, and Connecting with Self\, Spirit & Community (In-Person\, Seated Sound Bath)
DESCRIPTION:We are now at capacity for this this program and are unable to accept new registrations.  If you’d like to put your name on our wait list just in case someone is unable to attend\, you can do that here. \nThe practice of sound bathing has gained popularity recently but is actually a healing practice that is thousands of years old with deep roots in cultures around the world. Jenny Ehrhardt has been facilitating sound offerings for several years\, incorporating her first love as an herbalist into all that she offers. Integrating sound using crystal chakra bowls\, bells\, song\, and rattles with plants and sweetness from the earth\, opens our hearts and nourishes the soul for the healing of the world. What a perfect combination for the Well community and all who seek soul nourishment and healing for self and others! \nWe are thrilled to welcome Jenny back to the Well for another session of healing\, renewal and nourishment during the Spring season of renewal. Jenny will offer a time of stillness\, sacred listening\, reflection\, and alignment with spirit that invites us to take care of ourselves as well as send love and peace out into the world through our vibrations\, prayers and the collective spiritual intention of a sacred community. \nYou will be seated for this session which will begin with a time of introduction and honoring of each participant\, inviting plant spirit connection to our intentions/prayers and sound healing meditation. Healing sound helps break up trauma in the body and assists in releasing whatever no longer serves us. This is so important in our culture and world today. At the end of the session\, Jenny will share seasonal herbal tea and a sweet offering to help integrate and embody the experience. \nWe are thrilled that Jenny found the Well (literally in her own neighborhood!) and is sharing her gifts of love and presence now as part of the Well community. We invite you to join Jenny and trust this ancient healing process of soul sound weaving for the renewal of your body\, mind and spirit and the nourishment of your soul. \nPlease don’t delay! Jenny’s Sound Soul Weaving sessions at the Well sell out every time! \nDATE: Sunday\, April 13\, 2025 \nTIME: 2:00 – 4:00 PM \nCOST: $50 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 \nREGISTRATION is at capacity; you may add your name to the wait list here. \nCANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Please read our policy here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. Please be sure you have received and read this email a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the start of the program. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Jenny Ehrhardt \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nOver the last two years I have been fortunate to work with two other women facilitating sound offerings on the Eastern Shore. I have seen so many beautiful effects this work has had on so many people\, including myself. I feel honored to be working with the bowls and other sounds to help connect us to something much deeper\, Ourselves. Working with all ages on many different levels\, I see the peace come over most people in a very surprising way. I have been called to create small\, intimate sound offerings right here in my hometown. I am grateful to have found Well for the Journey\, which has been such a sacred place for me this past year. I work deeply with the plants as well and had a small shoppe in Hampden for over 10 years. I have been called to service and I love plants\, sound\, and people who are open to change and learning and being in a community without judgement. Pure Hearts\, I feel this at Well For the Journey and look forward to connecting more and sharing and learning through sound and the plants.

SUMMARY:Group Spiritual Direction 2024-2025 with Cathy Rosensteel (In-Person & Online)
DESCRIPTION:Group Spiritual Direction is a process in which people gather together on a regular basis to assist one another in an ongoing awareness of God (Spirit\, Source\, Creator\, whatever your name is) in all of life. Participants in the group are seeking support for their responsiveness to God and they agree to support others in that same responsiveness. This contemplative approach to spiritual direction is grounded in the model that originated at the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington\, DC. . \nJoining the group is a deep commitment to one’s spiritual journey and to the other participants in the group. Three conditions are essential to the life of the group. Members must agree to: \n· Commit themselves to an honest relationship with God\, by whatever name called.\n· Participate wholeheartedly in the group process through consistent attendance and prayerful listening and response.\n· Open their spiritual journeys for consideration by others. \nThe group is limited to five participants and is facilitated by Cathy Rosensteel. The group will meet both in-person at the Well and on Zoom as noted below. \nCathy’s group has space for one new person this year. If you are feeling urged to give Group Spiritual Direction a try\, please call the Well at 410-296-9355. We will connect you with Cathy so that you can discuss your interest with her. \nDATES (In-Person at the Well): Saturdays – 9/28\, 10/12\, 11/9/24 and 3/8\, 4/12\, 5/10/25 \nDATES (Online via Zoom): Saturdays – 12/14/24 and 1/11\, 2/8/25 \nTIME: 8:30 – 11:00 AM \nCOST: $250 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. She has an M.A. in Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Care from Loyola University Maryland. Kindled by a week-long silent Ignatian retreat\, she developed a deep appreciation for silence and the Spiritual Exercises. Furthering her interest\, she completed the 19th Annotation of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life. Her work in this area includes leading retreats on finding silence in everyday living and walking the labyrinth. Through private practice\, Cathy is honored to provide individual spiritual direction in the Middle River and Towson areas. \nCathy’s background includes teaching teacher education candidates and directing the Special Education programs at Loyola University Maryland. SUMMARY:Moon Cycle Spirituality: Connect with the Lunar Rhythms of Light and Dark for All Seasons of Life (3-part online series)
DESCRIPTION:We know the moon affects us and all creation on Mother Earth\, but have you ever wondered about the moon’s impact on your spirituality? \nIf yes\, we hope you can join us for this 3-part series that invites you to align your energy with the flow of the cosmos and explore how the lunar rhythms can enrich your spiritual journey! Through connecting with the lunar cycles\, you will learn to support the rhythms of your daily life as well as the seasons and cycles of your spirit by flowing with the waxing and waning of the Moon. \nIn our first gathering\, we will explore how the Moon’s monthly cycle unfolds and how we can connect it to other seasonal rhythms (such as light and dark\, summer and winter\, and the seasons of our own journeys). This gathering will also include some individual reflection and group sharing to help participants begin to apply the Moon phases to their own lives. \nIn our second and third gatherings\, we will deepen into the lunar cycle through ritual circles for the New and Full Moon. The New Moon circle will invite introspection and intention-setting based on the astrology of the moon cycle\, while the Full Moon circle will emphasize speaking one’s truth and releasing what one wishes to let go. You will have the opportunity to set an intention for the month at the New Moon\, watch it grow with the Moon’s light\, and celebrate and affirm what has transpired at the Full Moon! \nJoin Kathleen Neville-Shinn\, and other like-spirited seekers\, to reconnect with the ancient and eternal flow of the Moon as your guide for the rhythms of life. Kathleen’s programs at the Well always sell out so please don’t delay in registering! \n \n\nDATE: Wednesdays – 3/12\, 3/26\, and 4/9/25 \nTIME: 7:00 – 8:30 PM ET \nCOST: $100 \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nCANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY:  Please read our cancellation / refund policy here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. SUMMARY:Yoga Nidra: Guided Meditation & Stillness (Online Program)
DESCRIPTION:Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that helps to relax the mind and body by doing “nothing.” This ancient practice produces a profound state of relaxation just by listening. \nOne hour of Yoga Nidra is equal to four (4) hours of sleep. As the mind slows down\, our thoughts begin to move away from us. Yoga Nidra happens in the space between waking and sleeping. It’s like floating! You disengage from stress-producing thoughts\, allowing the body\, mind\, and spirit to rest and heal naturally. Modern studies have validated the benefits of Yoga Nidra; showing that a guided meditation is very effective in reducing anxiety\, stress\, and depression. \nResting comfortably in your own home\, the practice can be done lying down or in a seated position with your feet up. All you have to do is listen. These are the items you will need: \n· A quiet place to lay down or recline.\n· Pillow for head and under your knees.\n· Blanket for warmth.\n· If desired\, an eye mask or pillow to block light.\n· Water to drink. \nThe Well is thrilled to continue our relationship with certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide\, Yoga Instructor\, and I Am Yoga Nidra Facilitator\, Jamila Keita to offer this deeply healing and restorative practice. Most individuals report feelings of enhanced well-being\, calm and better sleep after each session. Many feel relaxed and energized. \nIf you are new to meditation\, never tried or been successful at meditation\, we encourage you to give Yoga Nidra a try. You will be amazed at how easily you will achieve a meditative state. \nThe sessions are being offered twice a month on a Monday and Tuesday evening. Give yourself (and maybe a loved one!) the gift of deep rest and relaxation this Spring. Your body will thank you! \nDATE: Mondays\, 4/7\, 5/12\, 6/9/25 and Tuesdays\, 4/22\, 5/27\, 6/24/25 \nTIME: 7:30 – 8:30 PM ET \nCOST: $15 per session \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nCANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Please read our cancellation / refund policy\, here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. Please be sure you have received and read this email a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the start of the program. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Jamila Keita \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nHi! My name is Evangeline “Jamila” Keita. I’ve been practicing yoga for almost 25 years and decided to teach yoga as my “retirement job.” It was during my yoga training (YT200) that I was introduced to Yoga Nidra. Immediately after completing YT200 in 2014\, I took my first Yoga Nidra training. Since that time\, I’ve taken subsequent trainings in Yoga Nidra in 2017 and 2021. I love this practice. \nDuring the shutdown\, I found “nature therapy.” This led me to complete a course through “The Kripalu School of Outdoor Leadership” and become a KMOG (Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide). \nI currently teach two yoga classes per week on Zoom. Each class includes poses and a short Yoga Nidra session. Since 2022\, I have provided weekly Yoga Nidra sessions for Hopewell Cancer Support Center and occasional Mindful Outdoor Experiences (MOEs). Additionally\, I work for Nature Worx\, a non-profit that provides MOEs to persons in recovery and the general public. \nI never imagined this second career as it is\, but it seems like a natural evolution to me. I hope you enjoy my offerings.

SUMMARY:SOLD OUT - Worship in the Wild at Cromwell Valley Park (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:We are now at capacity for this program and are no longer able to accept additional registrations. \nDuring Covid\, many of us experienced communal worship in new ways\, mostly through on-line alternatives and outdoors. We grew accustomed to experiencing worship that wasn’t attached to a particular sacred building or in-person with others not in our household. Our experience of worship expanded and with it our freedom to recognize the sacred in many worship spaces. \nPlease join us this Spring for “Worship in the Wild” at beautiful Cromwell Valley Park. Our leaders for this alternative worship experience\, Scott Slater and Greg Cochran\, have long and rich histories in traditional pulpits and in the great outdoors! \nScott and Greg will once again combine their passion for nature with their experience of worship to gently move us along a trail where the “worship space” changes and encourages our sense of spirituality in nature. Inclusive and expansive language will be intentionally used that invites participants to think more broadly about how we understand terms such as God or Spirit. The order of service will be loosely structured and based on historic Christian Sunday worship patterns\, but with broader\, more inclusive\, and non-Christian specific language. Inspirational readings will come from a variety of sacred spiritual traditions. \nWe will gather at the Willow Grove Nature Center (east entrance of Cromwell Valley Park). The ability to walk for a mile and stand for ten minutes at a time along the trail is required. Please dress comfortably and wear good walking shoes. This offering is free\, but please register for planning purposes and so that we can notify you if worship is cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Thank you! \nDATE: Sunday\, April 6\, 2025 \nTIME: 1:00 – 2:00PM \nCOST: FREE & RSVP requested \nLOCATION: Cromwell Valley Park\, 2002 Cromwell Bridge Rd\, Parkville\, MD 21234 \nRSVPs are full and unable to accept additional sign ups. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. This email will include details to help you prepare for your program including any pertinent handouts\, location information\, and the ZOOM link for online programs. Please be sure you have received and read this email a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the start of the program. Thank you! \nFACILITATORS: Scott Slater and Greg Cochran \nFACILITATOR BIOS: \nScott Slater:\nScott is a retired Episcopal priest and founding member of Well For the Journey. An avid outdoor enthusiast\, he spent most Sunday mornings during Covid out walking his dog and listening to church services online as he walked. He recently experienced a worship service at an ecumenical monastery that emphasized inclusive and expansive language that inspired him to offer this worship alternative through the Well. \nScott lives in Towson with his spouse but is often traveling throughout the country in his motorhome and going on amazing walks and hikes in many different inspiring settings. \nGreg Cochran:\nGreg has been the Executive Director at Well for the Journey since 2010. He is a graduate of Clemson University and Southern Seminary. Greg was Associate Pastor at Woodbrook Baptist Church serving from 1988-2022. He also is a program/retreat facilitator and a spiritual companion. He completed the Shalem Institute’s Spiritual Guidance Program (SGP) in 2009 and is currently a SGP staff member. He is also a mentor for Paseo’s “The Stewards of Mystery” Spiritual Guidance Program in Cottonwood\, Idaho. \nGreg and his wife\, Carole\, live in Baltimore. They have two children (26 and 24). Greg is a hiker\, photographer\, woodworker\, and loves being with family – and is always desiring to be open and listening for the invitation of the Spirit.

SUMMARY:Honoring the Gifts of Spring: A Sacred Circle Dance Gathering for Women (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome back Lisa Bardack\, Sacred Circle Dance Facilitator\, for another sacred circle dance gathering at the Well! \nSacred circle dance is a collective dance experience that draws from ancient and traditional folk dances\, many from Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Dancing to wonderful music and rhythms\, we join the circle of grandmothers who initiated these dances and passed them on. Dancing in their footsteps\, we experience a sense of something greater than ourselves\, a continuum of which we are a sacred part. Born from the Earth\, these dances connect us to the rhythms of the seasons and the cycles of life\, evoking a powerful sense of community and interconnection with each other and all life. \nIn this circle dance gathering\, we will honor the season of spring. We are a sacred part of spring\, witnesses to her unfolding beauty and to our own unfolding. There is the promise of renewal and growth in spring\, a time to bring to fruition the seeds and visions we have been quietly cultivating in the winter months. We will move through dances that help us cultivate our creativity and sense of purpose\, and dances that will help to ground us in these turbulent times. We will dance\, as well\, to honor the transition from winter to spring\, the dance between stillness\, restlessness and action. Rooting into the ground as we rise up\, we will dance to cultivate the mindfulness needed to move forward into spring with greater peace\, clarity and joy. \nNo dance experience is required (just basic mobility and coordination)\, as the dances are simple to moderately easy\, and the step sequences repetitive. Lisa will gently guide us in the dance steps and share meaningful information on the origins of each dance. You can dance in bare feet\, socks\, or soft soled shoes. \nIf you love to dance\, or perhaps love the idea of sacred dance and are curious to learn more\, come and enjoy a beautiful afternoon of movement meditation in the safe and nurturing environment that is the Well! Registration is limited to 8 participants\, so please don’t delay! \nTo learn more about sacred circle dance and Lisa\, please visit Lisa’s website at https://www.evokethesacred.com/. \nDATE: Saturday\, April 5\, 2025 \nTIME: 2:00 – 4:00 PM \nCOST: $40 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nCANCELLATION POLICY: Please read our cancellation / refund policy\, here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. It was in 1997 that she first experienced Sacred Circle Dance and fell in love with this collective experience of dancing ancient and traditional steps to wonderful music from around the world. She has studied Sacred Circle Dance for over 15 years through classes and conferences nationally and internationally and has been teaching since 2008. SUMMARY:SOLD OUT: The Body Holds\, The Body Heals: Restoring Balance\, Releasing Stress\, Creating Calming Practices (half-day\, in-person retreat)
DESCRIPTION:This program has reached its capacity and is now sold out.  We have created a wait list just in case someone who is registered is unable to attend. You may add your name to the wait list here. \n\nAre you going through your day feeling overly sensitive\, too reactive\, or easily triggered? Or do you feel numb most days\, simply going through the motions? By the time we are adults\, most of us are walking warriors\, holding stress and trauma in our bodies as we’ve had to survive and simply soldier on. In the short run\, our bodies may be able to do this\, holding it together to get through. However\, over time\, we cannot keep up this pace. Our bodies become overwhelmed as they hold our stressed experiences. They develop pain\, fatigue\, injury\, or disease\, as they can no longer repress all they have held over time. \nJoin certified Somatic Experience Practitioner\, Emily Kearns\, for this half-day retreat to give your body a break and invite it to begin to rest and heal. The Body Holds\, The Body Heals program provides a safe container for participants to begin to: \n1. identify how our bodies hold whatever overwhelms such as grief\, trauma\, and stress;\n2. relate to our bodies as a resource for calming\, metabolizing\, and integrating what has been held; and\n3. respond differently to past and current stress through somatic (body-focused) practices and rituals. \nThrough guided meditation\, sitting or walking in nature\, art journaling including collage\, and group sharing\, you will grow your self-care toolbox to begin to experience your body as a resource — reducing stress and generating relaxation in body\, mind\, and spirit. \nPlease bring a journal for your reflections. We will be exploring different ways of checking in with and resting our bodies. All of the activities can occur seated\, but if you want the option to lie down or sit on the floor\, please bring a yoga mat\, pillow\, and blanket. \nPlease join us for this healing and restorative mini-retreat! \nDATE: Saturday\, March 29\, 2025 \nTIME: 1:00 – 5:00 PM \nCOST: $55 \nREGISTRATION is closed as the program has sold out; you may add your name to the waitlist here. \nCANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Please read our cancellation / refund policy\, here. \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W.
SUMMARY:Yoga Nidra – Guided Meditation & Stillness (Online Program)
You are welcome to purchase one session at a time or choose all sessions at a discounted rate. \nDATES: Mondays – 2/10 and 3/10/25 and Tuesdays – 2/25 and 3/25/25 \nTIME: 7:30 – 8:30 PM ET \nCOST: $15 per session\, All 4 sessions for $50 \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nCANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Please see our policy\, here. \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from lorie@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program.

SUMMARY:Ancient Myths & Their Wisdom for Contemporary Spiritual Seekers (Online Series)
DESCRIPTION:“A myth… is a metaphor for a mystery beyond human comprehension. It is a comparison that helps us understand\, by analogy\, some aspect of our mysterious selves. A myth\, in this way of thinking\, is not an untruth but a way of reaching a profound truth.” ~ Christopher Vogler \nThe word myth is saturated with numerous\, sometimes negative connotations in contemporary times. Often\, it is associated with being an untruth or a fabricated statement. Yet\, this recent usage of the word ignores the rich\, timeless value for which myths were originally conceived. Join us for this multi-part series that will explore some of the world’s prominent mythologies in their original light and the deep spiritual wisdom cradled within them. Excerpts of myths will be gathered from the Egyptian\, Greek\, Chinese\, Celtic and Native American traditions amongst other cultures. Additional sources will include Michael Meade’s Awakening the Soul and his long-running podcast series\, Living Myth. \nWithin each session\, there will be abundant opportunities to creatively experience these myths and connect with the parallels they offer to contemporary spiritual seekers and their personal journeys. Centralizing themes from each of the featured mythologies will be highlighted in each session of the series. While pertinent information related to respective myths will be provided\, also woven throughout each session will be time for contemplative silence and meditation\, journaling\, personal reflection\, and group discussion. Participants will emerge from the series with a timely and deepened awareness about the gifts and relevance of myths and the healing role they can serve in cultivating understanding and peace in our world today. \nMythological journeys will unfold along the following schedule as we journey with diversely different cultures and traditions from around the world: \n· January 28th – Egyptian Mythology\n· February 25th – Greek Mythology\n· March 25th – Chinese Mythology\n· April 29th (5th Tuesday) – Celtic Mythology\n· May 27th – Native American Mythologies \nPlease Note: Attendance is encouraged in each session of this series\, however\, interested participants can register for one\, a few\, or all programs depending on personal preference and availability. \nDATE: Tuesdays – 1/28\, 2/25\, 3/25\, 4/29\, and 5/27/25 \nTIME: 1:00 – 3:00 PM ET \nCOST: $200 for Series or $45 per Session \nREGISTRAION is required; please register here. \n CANCELLATION POLICY: Please read our cancellation policy\, here.  \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. SUMMARY:Seven Sacred Pauses for Life's Daily Pilgrimage (Online Program Meeting Monthly)
DESCRIPTION:“All it takes is a simple\, sacred pause to get us in touch with the One who keeps vigil with us – the holy presence of so many names. Only you can name that which waits for you.” – Macrina Wiederkehr \nNo matter what spiritual path we follow\, we are all pilgrims together on each day’s journey. The details of our daily pilgrimage differ one from another\, but we all hope for a good day as we awake and move through the day with whatever joys and challenges await us. In her classic book\, Seven Sacred Pauses – Living Mindfully Through the Hours of the Day\, Macrina Wiederkehr invites us to embrace the rich tradition of consciously pausing at seven sacred moments of each day so that our daily passage through time is more of a sacred pilgrimage than one long To Do List. She encourages us to stay awake through the day\, “Each morning as I look out my window\, I want to be awake enough to say\, today I will remember to pause.” \nYou are invited to journey through the hours with spiritual companion and retreat leader\, Lorie Conway\, as we explore ways to practice pausing that recognize the busyness\, clutter\, noise\, and chaos that are rampant in our culture\, while gently encouraging us to be creators of our present moment. Each month will explore a different hour of the day and engage with contemplative spiritual practices that may be well suited for that time. We will use Wiederkehr’s book as a guide to the hours as we engage poetry\, music\, reflections\, and sacred text from an array of spiritual teachers and traditions. Please note\, it is not necessary to read the book as it is only one of many resources that will be utilized. \nOur monthly topics include:\n· September 26th – Introduction to Sacred Pausing\n· October 24th – The Awakening Hour – Dawn\n· November 21st – The Blessing Hour – Midmorning\n· December 12th – The Hour of Illumination – Midday\n· January 23rd – The Wisdom Hour – Midafternoon\n· February 20th – The Twilight Hour – Evening\n· March 20th – The Great Silence – Night\n· April 24th – The Night Watch – Midnight Until Dawn \nYou are welcome to join us for one\, many\, or all of the 8 monthly sessions. Lorie encourages you to join the first one\, if possible\, as it lays the groundwork for subsequent months. If you are unable to join the first one\, no worries! A handout will be provided to give you foundational information. \nDATES: Thursdays – 9/26\, 10/24\, 11/21\, 12/12/24\, and 1/23\, 2/20\, 3/20\, 4/24/25 \nTIME: 2:00 – 3:30 PM ET \nCOST: $35 per session or $250 for all 8 sessions \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nCANCELLATION POLICY:  Please read our cancellation policy\, here. \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from lorie@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program.
SUMMARY:Awaken to the Season of Renewal: Explore Change\, Forgiveness and Passion (An Online Journaling Series)
DESCRIPTION:Awaken to the Season of Renewal!  The arrival of Spring encourages us to explore ways to awaken spiritually. Journaling is a simple yet powerful way to reflect on our life journey and be present with our inner self. In this three-part series\, experienced Journaling Facilitator\, Liz Neal\, will guide participants through an engaging examination of Change\, Forgiveness\, and Passion\, and the impact of these three dimensions on one’s personal spirituality. \nMuch of our spiritual growth and freedom depends on whether we give ourselves over to understanding the process of change. Forgiveness\, also a process\, requires us to shift our perspective and redirect our energies to access healing. Passion provides meaning in our lives and ensures a connection to ourselves and community. \nThrough a guided practice to include a variety of readings and prompts\, participants will reflect\, journal\, and share as they feel led in a safe and sacred journaling community. Simple strategies will be shared and modeled to deepen your journaling practice or assist you in starting a new one! No previous writing or journaling experience is required. Come explore and deepen with Liz and fellow seekers! \nDATE: Fridays – 3/14\, 3/28\, and 4/11/25 \nTIME: 1:00 – 2:30 PM \nCOST: $85 \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nCANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Please read our cancellation / refund policy\, here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. SUMMARY:Intuition: Living Into Your Soul’s Knowing (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:“Intuition is the song of my soul.” – Lori Lipten\, Intuitive Practitioner & Author \nWe are born as highly intuitive beings. Our first language is intuition\, it is the language of our soul\, and it is always communicating with us. Our intuition often feels like it’s in the background because we are usually operating from our ego mind-beliefs\, fears\, trauma\, habits\, and overstimulation. \nEveryone is intuitive and intuition is a normal way to communicate. It is implicit in all religions\, philosophies\, and worldviews. It’s as natural as breathing. Unfortunately\, we also live in a culture that favors logic/evidence over intuition. As children\, we are not taught to value our intuition and as a result\, we may have discounted our own feelings or hunches\, suppressing development of intuition. \nIntuition is the ‘song of our souls’ and is often referred to as the ‘voice of God.’ Love is the soul’s frequency. We can learn to tune back into our intuition and to be a compassionate witness to this world through a heart-centered lens by elevating our vibrations to match our soul.\, We do this through attunement practices such as meditation\, prayer\, breathwork\, and other contemplative practices. \nJoin Certified Intuitive Practitioner\, Maggie Lears\, for this intriguing session where we will discuss attunement practices for strengthening our intuition and will also learn about the clairs\, e.g.\, clairvoyance and how they relate to intuition. We will engage in large group discussion\, small group conversations\, a short meditation\, and exercises to ascertain ways that we naturally access intuitive messages. We will begin to develop our intuition so that we become more in tune with our soul’s purpose and begin to live intuitively on a daily basis. \nDATE: Thursday\, March 13\, 2025 \nTIME: 6:30 – 8:30 PM \nCOST: $40 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nCANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Please read our cancellation / refund policy\, here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program.
