SUMMARY:From Age-ing to Sage-ing: Embracing the Wisdom of Our Personal Life’s Journey (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:Aging is the most common human experience. How we view the aging process has a significant impact on how we harvest the gifts given and the gifts received in our life. We are living longer these days and so often we hear the phrase\, “I don’t like getting old.” Over time\, this common phrase can become a deeply ingrained mantra – one that may unintentionally limit our perspective. \nAs we reflect on our life’s journey\, it behooves us to ask if this mantra serves us? Does it enhance our sense of meaning and well-being? Perhaps there is a more life-giving way to speak about our unfolding years. \nCan you embrace aging to cultivate the inwardness from which your wisdom grows? What is your meaningful spiritual and life legacy? How can you use your experience and wisdom to contribute to help the world? \nThese are some of the questions and insights for our day of reflection. Certified professional coach\, Sharon Scibek brings a passion for facilitating transformational conversations that open others to notice and reach their full potential. Join Sharon as she guides us in meaningful conversation\, prayer\, and reflective practices to support your personal journey from age-ing to sage-ing. You will walk away celebrating the personal gift of your years and honoring the wisdom you share with others. \nDATE: Friday\, March 13\, 2026 \nTIME: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM \nCOST: $70 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey\, 120 W. SUMMARY:Exploring the Cup of Our Life (A six-part\, online series)
DESCRIPTION:In these tender and challenging times\, it is ever more important to understand how we can hold harmony and balance between our inner and outer lives. While using Joyce Rupp’s book\, The Cup of Our Life\, as a foundation\, we will use a simple cup as a metaphor for our lives. Perhaps you have a favorite cup to hold your morning beverage. Maybe it has a few chips from being used so often. Or perhaps there is a beloved cup that has broken and been put back together with love. All of these cups can act as metaphors for times in our lives. \nDuring our gatherings\, we will examine how we fill our cup with intention\, and what we pour out of our cup into our own lives as well as the lives of those around us. As the seasons of life change\, so does the need to empty from our cup that which no longer serves us and fill it with those things that will help us meet the next season more fully. We must discern what to keep\, what to let go of and what to add to meet ourselves in the fullness of our lives. \nJoin Spiritual Companion and Retreat Facilitator\, Beth Wood-Roig\, for this soul-nourishing and enriching winter series from the warmth and comfort of your home. Each week\, Beth will invite reflection on a different image of the cup\, such as the open cup\, the chipped cup\, the broken cup\, and the cup of compassion\, encouraging insight into how we live with intention and harmony. It is not necessary to purchase or read the book. Simply bring your favorite cup and an openness to discover all that this simple tool can offer. \nDATES: Tuesdays – 2/3\, 2/10\, 2/17\, 2/24\, 3/3\, 3/10/26 \nTIME: 7:00 – 8:30 PM ET \nCOST: $120 \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. If you are unable to find the email\, please check your SPAM or JUNK email folders. This email will include details to help you prepare for your program including any pertinent handouts\, location information\, and the ZOOM link for online programs. Please be sure you have received and read this email a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the start of the program. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Beth Wood-Roig \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nBeth’s background includes many years leading contemplative retreats\, small group facilitation and spiritual companioning. SUMMARY:Deconstructing Your Faith\, Re-envisioning Your Spirituality (Online Program)
DESCRIPTION:“The combination of Greg and Gordon was awesome!!!” – Judy Wright \n“It was very well done\, a good mix of time together\, group breakouts and meditations. Greg and Gordon created an accepting and comfortable environment.” – Nancy \nDo you ever wonder about the image of God you are carrying?… Have you reached a place in your human journey where you are questioning the faith tradition that you have been a part of and its relevance to your spiritual journey?… Has the faith community/tradition you made a home in brought wounding\, confusion\, or despair to you in navigating the transitions and thresholds of your life?… \nIf the answer that arises within you as you ponder these questions is ‘yes\,’ please know that you are not alone. Current statistics reveal to us that in the United States the number of individuals who are affiliated with a particular faith tradition and/or denomination continue to decrease. Many people are questioning the role of religion in their lives and decidedly searching for alternatives to a worship community and complicated doctrines. \nIn this sacred pursuit\, more and more questions abound as humanity struggles to listen more deeply to God’s authentic voice in their everyday lives. In this listening\, many are discovering a divine invitation to pause and reconsider the meaning underlying this reality. Perhaps\, a way to move forward is to explore the possibility of deconstructing the faith we carry while re-envisioning the purpose and possibilities of what it means to live from our deeper spiritual identity. \nJoin Well for the Journey’s own Greg Cochran and Gordon Creamer for this online series\, where we will explore the pressing questions in our hearts around this wrestling with what it means to practice the faith we carry – or were taught to carry – while welcoming a deep\, unfed spiritual hunger. At this critical juncture in our personal and collective histories\, intentionally spending time in this way is not only an act of great self-compassion and care\, it can also become an embodied expression of healing for others whom we are connected to in the world. While in the presence of sacred and safe community\, each session will invite participants to engage in a period of contemplative silence around an excerpt from various wisdom writings\, such as bell hooks\, Richard Rohr\, Barbara Brown Taylor\, and Brian McLaren among others. Also included will be opportunities for personal reflection\, journaling\, small and large group conversations\, and other creative spiritual exercises. \nBelow offers a glimpse of what the emphasis will be for each of the sessions in this series:\nSession 1 – Creating a Sacred Space to Deconstruct & Querying the Purpose of Religion\nSession 2 – The Spiritual Nature of Being Human and Becoming\nSession 3 – Coming Home to Yourself\nSession 4 – Energizing Personal & Community Spiritual Practices\nSession 5 – Living Meaningfully in Spirit \nDATES: Mondays – 3/2\, 3/9\, 3/16\, 3/23\, 3/30/26 \nTIME: 6:30 – 8:30 PM ET \nCOST: Please choose the option that works best for you! (see registration link.) \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. SUMMARY:SOLD OUT: Honoring the Gifts of Spring - A Sacred Circle Dance Gathering for Women (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:This program has reached its capacity and is now sold out.  We have started a wait list should someone who is registered be unable to attend.  You may add your name to the wait list here.  Also – check back soon – two more Sacred Circle Dance programs will be added to our website this week! \n“Dancing with Lisa and others grounds and nurtures me in a way few other activities do.” – Past participant \n“This afternoon was very meaningful for me\, and I appreciate the opportunity to connect with mother Earth\, God‘s angels\, and the angels who attended and participated with me.” – Alice Jo Weaver \n“Always a joy to dance with Lisa. Sacred Circle Dance fills my cup in a way few other activities do.” – Sherri Philpott \n“THANK YOU so much for this program. It was very enjoyable.” – Past participant \nWe are delighted to welcome back Lisa Bardack\, Sacred Circle Dance Facilitator\, for another sacred circle dance gathering at the Well! \nSacred circle dance is a collective dance experience that draws from ancient and traditional folk dances\, many from Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Dancing to wonderful music and rhythms\, we join the circle of grandmothers who initiated these dances and passed them on. Dancing in their footsteps\, we experience a sense of something greater than ourselves\, a continuum of which we are a sacred part. Born from the Earth\, these dances connect us to the rhythms of the seasons and the cycles of life\, evoking a powerful sense of community and interconnection with each other and all life. \nIn this circle dance gathering\, we will honor the coming of spring. We are a sacred part of spring\, witnesses to her unfolding beauty and to our own unfolding. There is the promise of renewal and growth in spring\, a time to bring to fruition the seeds and visions we have been quietly cultivating in the winter months. We will move through dances that help us cultivate our creativity and sense of purpose\, and dances that will help to ground us in these turbulent times. We will dance\, as well\, to honor the transition from winter to spring\, the dance between stillness\, restlessness and action. Rooting into the ground as we rise up\, we will dance to cultivate the mindfulness needed to move forward into spring with greater peace\, clarity and joy. \nNo dance experience is required (just basic mobility and coordination)\, as the dances are simple to moderately easy\, and the step sequences repetitive. Lisa will gently guide us in the dance steps and share meaningful information on the origins of each dance. You can dance in bare feet\, socks\, or soft soled shoes. \nIf you love to dance\, or perhaps love the idea of sacred dance and are curious to learn more\, come and enjoy a beautiful afternoon of movement meditation in the safe and nurturing environment that is the Well! Registration is limited to 8 participants\, so please don’t delay! \nTo learn more about sacred circle dance and Lisa\, please visit Lisa’s website at https://www.evokethesacred.com/. \nDATE: Saturday\, March 7\, 2026 \nTIME: 2:00 – 4:00 PM \nCOST: $40 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. SUMMARY:Ordinary Graces: Writing Big Poetry from Day-to-Day Smallness (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:You don’t need to be struck by inspiration to write a poem that expresses your soul truths. Inspiration comes when you are drinking your morning coffee or tea\, when your cat climbs into your lap\, when your neighbor wishes you good morning as you try to increase your heart rate on your daily walk. \nKitty Yanson knows a thing or two about writing poetry. Kitty taught all things English and ran the creative writing program at Mercy High School in Baltimore. This program will show ways to hold common things in your heart and mind long enough for them to speak their stories to you to yield poems that bring your heart and world together. You will learn the unique power of images to carry feelings and ideas and ways to explore these images to find links to the hard-to-express. We will practice these methods together and\, by the end\, write individual poems that express not only who we are\, but also\, according to Maya Angelou\, how we are who we are. \nJoin Kitty for a delightful afternoon of creativity and community! \nDATE: Thursday\, March 5\, 2026 (INCLEMENT WEATHER DATE – March 12\, 2026) \nTIME: 1:00 – 4:00 PM \nCOST: $50 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Kitty Yanson \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nOld family stories told about one as a child have the resonance of myth. One does not know how much is actual truth and how much to explain a forming personality or to illustrate the values of one’s family. Nevertheless\, there is one about me: walking back from my grandmother’s house\, the four-year-old me asked my father\, “Where do thoughts go when you stop thinking them?” My fate was sealed: I became the family philosopher whether I wanted to live it out or not (which I kind of did). So I grew up studying art and stories and my own inner life and the tickings of peoples’ minds. Through it all\, I’m still wondering where thoughts go when you stop thinking them. \nI recently retired from a 35-year career as an English teacher at Mercy High School where I taught creative writing\, journalism\, English\, and theatre. My formal education includes a BA in English Literature from Mt. St. Agnes College and a MS in Professional Writing\, Imaginative Concentration from Towson University. Prior to that I worked at the Baltimore Theatre Project and also free-lanced gardening and catering. While teaching\, I found that the creativities required for teaching and for writing really come from about the same place; retirement has happily diverted the channel back into writing and my new love\, painting. I have also been a member of one of Well for the Journey’s Group Spiritual Direction gatherings and previously led a program about exploring dream imagery with a Jungian lens.

SUMMARY:Anam Cara – A Soul Care Group for Spiritual Caregivers (Online Program - Morning Group)
DESCRIPTION:“I have appreciated having a space with people\, colleagues…The ability to walk and journal\, having that time carved out so other things don’t get in the way of it is helpful.” – Rev Andy McClain\n \n“I needed a community where I could be myself as an African American woman…Our Anam Cara group became the place where I could be just that. Authenticity and integrity seemed to be primary values for the group from the first time I entered.” – Rev. Freda Marie Brown\n \n“…I loved the opportunity to share new thoughts and ideas as I underwent my own spiritual transformation. I loved the openness and the refreshing way we all supported each other’s voices\, accepting with interest and love whatever was being offered\, without judgement.  – Rev. Freda Marie Brown\n \nI value opportunities for creativity\, contemplation\, and connection…and for curiosity about how it goes with each participant: How goes retirement? How goes vocational discernment? How goes caring for loved ones? How goes raising children?” – Rev. Clare Petersberger\n \n“Our Anam Cara gatherings remind me to mark the time through the changing seasons of the year and of our lives with soul friends. For all of these are holy things we will not\, cannot\, find again.” – Rev Clare Petersberger\n  \nCaring for others can be deeply meaningful—and deeply depleting. For ministers\, chaplains\, spiritual companions\, and others who offer soul care\, the act of holding sacred space for others can come at the cost of your own spiritual nourishment. The Well’s Anam Cara (Soul Friend) Group is a space created just for you—a place to receive the care you regularly encourage for others – soul care. \nThis small group\, sacred community welcomes spiritual caregivers (active\, retired\, or on sabbatical) to rest\, reflect\, and be. There are no roles to fill or responsibilities to carry. Here\, you are invited to water your own soul\, speak freely or remain silent\, and simply show up as you are—without judgment or expectation. \nWe are honored to welcome back Cecilia Amaral as facilitator for another year of Anam Cara. Cecilia has a deep commitment to encourage others to nurture authentic and thriving relationships with themselves\, others\, and their environments. Cecilia brings extensive experience working with spiritual caregivers and clergy from many faith traditions on an individual basis\, in groups\, and with denominational staff. She is uniquely gifted in holding space for those navigating the weight and complexity of spiritual companionship and leadership today. \nDue to high interest\, we are delighted to offer two online groups this year! Both groups will meet on the first Monday of the month\, October through June (with adjustments for holy days and holidays\, as needed): \n\nMorning Group – 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM ET (This website page you are reading right now is for the morning group!)\nEvening Group – 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM ET\n\n\nEach session follows a spacious rhythm: \n\nA check-in time with one another\nA reflection prompt offered by Cecila\n30 minutes of quiet\, off-screen personal reflection\nOptional sharing and a closing blessing\n\n\nCome be part of one of these nurturing circles. Let this be a season where your soul is tended with the same compassionate soul care you offer others. \nPlease Note: This registration is for the Morning Sessions. \nDATES: Mondays – 10/6\, 11/3\, 12/1/25 and 1/5\, 2/2\, 3/2\, 4/6\, 5/4\, 6/1/26 \nTIME: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM ET \nCOST: $95 \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Cecilia Amaral \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nCecilia Amaral has a deep commitment to encourage others to nurture authentic and thriving relationships with themselves\, others\, and their environments. Her decision to retire after more than 25 years as a Pastoral Psychotherapist and Educator has transitioned into her current practice as Spiritual Director and Certified Professional Life Coach. Cecilia’s integrated approach in companioning others on their journey leads to meaningful\, personal\, and relational transformation. \nCecilia began her involvement with the mission of the Well by referring clients to use the programs offered for their well-being. SUMMARY:Nourishing the Writer’s Soul – A Retreat Day for Writers (In-Person)
DESCRIPTION:A writer is someone who uses words to express ideas\, tell stories\, and convey meaning. Writers observe the world around them—and within them—and translate thoughts\, emotions\, and experiences into written form. Their writing may take many shapes: personal journaling\, spiritual reflection\, poetry\, essays\, blogs\, books\, articles\, and so much more. The possibilities are endless! \nAt the Well\, we recognize that writers need rest and renewal on the writing journey. We are pleased to offer two Retreat Days for Writers in 2025 facilitated by writer and retreat leader\, Amy Schmaljohn. With Amy’s gentle and inspiring guidance\, we’ll slow down and enjoy time for rest\, reflection and companionship with fellow writers on the journey. We’ll recharge our creative energies. We’ll share some experiences from our lives and practice as writers. We’ll have some fun and laughter along the way.   \nThis day is not intended as a writers’ workshop to read and refine writing that is emerging in our lives\, but rather to connect to the creative spark within each of us and to kindle a bit of warmth and companionship as we bring those sparks together for the day.   \nThis registration is for the winter retreat offered in February at Well for the Journey. (Save the date for the summer retreat on August 8th at Kything Croft\, a meadow\, stream\, and woodland property in northern Baltimore County.) \nJoin us for this special day of retreat and fellowship. Please bring a bag lunch and\, of course\, a journal and your favorite pen! \nDATE: Saturday\, February 28\, 2026 \nTIME: 9:00am – 4:00pm \nCOST: $75 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. Seminary Ave\, Lutherville-Timonium\, MD 21093 \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. Thank you! \nFACILITATOR: Amy Schmaljohn \nFACILITATOR BIO: \nAmy Schmaljohn enjoyed a 35 year career as a leader and teacher in both higher education and at Friends School of Baltimore (Quaker). Her classrooms offered students opportunities to explore world literature and art\, movements for nonviolent social transformation\, and the human experience of religion across global traditions. A member of Gunpowder Friends Meeting (Quaker)\, she leads contemplative spiritual retreats in the tradition of the Religious Society of Friends and offers spiritual deepening programs for seekers in the Baltimore region. She is enlivened by the sharing of our stories\, by the mystery and power of the written word\, and by her daily encounters with the natural world just outside her doorstep. Amy and her husband Alan\, a retired virologist\, live in northwestern Baltimore County\, where they steward seventeen acres of woodland\, meadow and streams that have been placed in the Maryland Environmental Trust and serve as a gathering space for those seeking immersive experiences in nature.

SUMMARY:Yoga Nidra: A Guided Meditation Practice (Online Program)
DESCRIPTION:Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that helps to relax the mind and body by doing “nothing.” This ancient practice produces a profound state of rest and relaxation simply by listening. \nOne hour of Yoga Nidra is said to be as restorative as four hours of sleep. As the mind slows down\, the whirlwind of thoughts holding our attention begin to move away from us as we float in the space between waking and sleeping. As you disengage from stress-producing thoughts\, the body\, mind\, and spirit begin to rest and heal naturally. Modern research continues to affirm the benefits of Yoga Nidra\, showing significant reductions in anxiety\, stress\, and depression after guided mediation. Many participants report improved sleep\, a deep sense of calm\, and renewed energy. \nResting comfortably in your own home\, the practice can be done lying down or in a seated position with your feet up. All you have to do is listen. Suggestions for your comfort include: \n\nA quiet place to lie down or recline\nA pillow for your head and under your knees\nA blanket and socks for warmth\nIf desired\, an eye mask or pillow to block light\nA glass of water nearby\n\n\nThe Well is delighted to continue offering this deeply healing and restorative practice in collaboration with certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide\, Yoga Instructor\, and I Am Yoga Nidra Facilitator\, Jamila Keita. If you are new to meditation\, have never tried or been successful at meditation\, or are just curious about yoga without any yoga poses\, we encourage you to give Yoga Nidra a try. You will be amazed at how easily you will achieve a meditative state with Jamila’s gentle guidance and soothing voice. \nPlus – Never Miss A Session! Each Yoga Nidra session will be recorded. The sessions are being offered twice a month on a Monday and Tuesday evening. A link to the recording will be emailed to registered participants the following day and will be available for three (3) days. You can listen as often as you like until the link expires after 3 days. \nGive yourself (and maybe a loved one!) the gift of deep rest and relaxation. Your body\, mind\, and spirit will thank you! \nDATES: Mondays – 2/9\, 3/9\, 4/6\, 5/4\, 6/8/26 and Tuesdays – 1/27\, 2/24\, 3/24\, 4/21\, 5/26\, 6/23/26 \nTIME: 7:30 – 8:30 PM ET \nCOST: $20 \nLOCATION: ZOOM \nREGISTRATION is required; please register here. \nIMPORTANT: You will receive an email from programming@wellforthejourney.org at least 24 hours in advance of the start of your program. My name is Evangeline “Jamila” Keita. I’ve been practicing yoga for almost 25 years and decided to teach yoga as my “retirement job.” It was during my yoga training (YT200) that I was introduced to Yoga Nidra. Immediately after completing YT200 in 2014\, I took my first Yoga Nidra training. Since that time\, I’ve taken subsequent trainings in Yoga Nidra in 2017 and 2021. I love this practice. \nDuring the shutdown\, I found “nature therapy.” This led me to complete a course through “The Kripalu School of Outdoor Leadership” and become a KMOG (Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide). \nI currently teach two yoga classes per week on Zoom. Each class includes poses and a short Yoga Nidra session. Since 2022\, I have provided weekly Yoga Nidra sessions for Hopewell Cancer Support Center and occasional Mindful Outdoor Experiences (MOEs). Additionally\, I work for Nature Worx\, a non-profit that provides MOEs to persons in recovery and the general public. \nI never imagined this second career as it is\, but it seems like a natural evolution to me. I hope you enjoy my offerings.

SUMMARY:Breathwork Across Spiritual Traditions and the Practice of Introspective Breathwork™ (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:Introspective Breathwork™\, a form of conscious connected breathwork\, is a therapeutic modality which invites us into deeper relationship with ourselves and our breath. In this session\, Certified Introspective Breathwork™ Facilitator\, Amy Kulesa\, will begin by sharing about approaches to mindful breathing which have been employed by spiritual traditions for millennia around the world. We will explore how these traditions are now supported by scientific research on the beneficial use of deep breathing for regulation of the nervous system and healing trauma. Breath is a bridge between matter and consciousness\, and its intentional\, mindful practice can ease stress and heal nervous system dysregulation and bring us to a greater degree of integrated peace\, embodied presence and self-insight. \nConscious connected breathwork is sometimes called “circular breathing.” This involves deep\, diaphragmatic inhalations followed by natural\, unforced exhalation\, without a pause at the top and bottom of the breath. During the session\, we will breathe this way for an hour\, lying down on a mat or cushion\, to the accompaniment of ambient music. When breathing in this way\, a person is in conscious control at all times of their own experience and can slow down or quicken the breath at any time\, pause to get a drink or use the restroom. The Breathworker\, Amy\, supports the breathers by compassionate and soulful presence: encouraging\, when appropriate\, through verbal prompts or gentle touch (only by prior permission) and holding space before\, during and after the breath session\, allowing each participant adequate time to process their experience. \nThe breath’s integrative benefits are felt as we come into contact through deep presence to ourselves with an embodied experience of our emotions\, memories\, physical tensions and spiritual dimensions. This can allow us to behold ourselves in an expanded way within an enlarged\, more cosmic field of love and unitive consciousness. Conscious connected breathwork can gently support us in healing from stress\, the everyday tensions of our lives and deeper-seated unresolved effects from trauma. The environment for an Introspective Breathwork session is a nurturing\, safe space for self-exploration and coming into a deepened experience of transcendent Love. Each session and each person’s experience is unique\, as the breath facilitates movement of emotional energy up and through into consciousness and release\, and supports inner unity of body\, mind and spirit. \nPLEASE NOTE: This program is being held in the Upper Room at the Well. Participants will need to walk up the stairs to the 3rd Floor. The length of the program will be 2.5 to 3 hours depending upon participant sharing. Additionally\, participants will be required to sign a release form after registration and return it to Amy for review. \nPlease register early! Registration is limited to 9 people so that Amy can give personal attention to each participant. \nDATE: Saturday\, February 21\, 2026 \nTIME: 1:00 – 3:30 PM \nCOST: $55 \nLOCATION: Well for the Journey – 120 W. SUMMARY:Journeying Through Lent in Your Own Way: A Contemplative\, Intentional Gathering (Online Program)
DESCRIPTION:“Lent is a time for us to empty ourselves of worldly distractions and allow God to fill us with God’s love\, grace\, and peace.” \n~ St. (Mother) Teresa of Calcutta \nThe Lenten Season is a fertile time to engage in our spiritual journeys in meaningful ways that are set apart from other times of the year. This dedicated period of time offers invitations to engage our contemplative imagination as we encounter Divine Presence in the shifting of the seasons and within ourselves. This season unfolds with a sacred rhythm that can connect us more intimately with such Presence while pursuing opportunities for nourishment and renewal in relationship with ourselves and others. Moreover\, all spiritual seekers can experience various possibilities to discover (or rediscover) the deep\, resonant love that exists for each of us as it is revealed within our unique and collective journeys. \nAs Lent begins its perennial unfolding this February\, you are invited to gather virtually with Spiritual Companion and Retreat Leader\, Gordon Creamer\, to mark this season of hope — to bring your wrestling questions\, your longing\, and your openness to Spirit’s nudges in your life. In community\, we will engage in contemplative practices while also personally reflecting upon what our respective intentions for this annual sojourn might behold. Dedicated time for creatively expressing these intentions will take shape through writing prompts\, group discussion\, and moments of prayer/meditation. We will also consider ancient and non-traditional Lenten practices that might enhance our journey this year.
