He is interested in astrology\, mythology\, and the intersection of science and spirituality. \nSeptember 16:  Donna Mollenkopf\nDonna is a part of the Well community in many ways. She is currently a Women at the Well facilitator and curriculum writer\, and also leads some of the Well’s programs on mystics and other topics. She has also served on the Well’s Board and is the co-author of two books on spirituality. Donna values a contemplative stance and is married with a son\, two stepsons\, and is a happy grandmother. \nSeptember 23:   Lisa Beacham\nLisa serves the world as a spiritual director and Enneagram coach and resides in Baltimore\, MD. Active within her church and the Program Circle at Well For The Journey\, Lisa recognizes her purpose in life is to create a world where people thrive. She loves traveling and discovering new foods. \nSeptember 30:  Rabbi Emily Stern\nRabbi Emily Stern is the Spiritual Leader and Rabbi of Kol HaLev\, a Reconstructionist Synagogue Community. She is passionate about creative approaches to deepening our personal relationships to religion and mysticism through the arts\, self-expression\, meditation\, and inquiry.  \nOctober 7:  Lorie Conway\nLorie is a contemplative spiritual director\, group facilitator\, retreat leader\, and curious seeker of Divine Mystery who lives in Bel Air\, MD. She is on staff with the Well and the Shalem Institute of Spiritual Formation. Lorie enjoys playing in the dirt and has a passion for deep listening and accompanying others on their spiritual journeys.  \nOctober 14:  Mabeth Hudson\nThrough her leadership and writing\, Mabeth encourages people to listen to their inner wisdom\, discover meaningful connections\, grow through challenges\, and better love and be loved in the nitty-gritty of everyday life. Mabeth is passionate about attending to the spiritual dimension of being human in a practical way\, as it impacts all of one’s relationships. For over 20 years\, she has been developing and leading programs for spiritual wellness\, personal growth\, and leadership development. Her workshops\, classes\, retreats\, and writing offer accessible tools to integrate into daily life. \nAfter practicing law for several years\, Mabeth entered a discernment process which led to the co-founding of Well for the Journey in 2002. \nOctober 21:  Greg Cochran\nGreg is a spiritual companion/guide\, a staff member of two spiritual guidance programs\, and Executive Director of the Well. Greg lives in Baltimore and is passionate about spiritual deepening through nature\, woodworking\, photography\, and good conversations. \nOctober 28:  Gordon Creamer\nGordon is a retreat facilitator\, spiritual director/companion\, and Program Director at Well For The Journey. He is a native son of Baltimore City\, where he lives with his husband and two Siamese cats. \nNovember 4:  Kristan Joice\nKristan joined The Well staff in April 2021 as Office Administrator and Bookkeeper\, bringing with her a degree in Culinary Arts and over 25 years of experience in human resources\, administration\, and event planning. Since becoming part of The Well community and witnessing the impact of spiritual wellness and connection\, she has woven her passions for cooking and social justice into weekly volunteer efforts throughout Baltimore City. \nNovember 11:  Tim Grayson\nTim is an Episcopal Priest and retreat leader with an abiding interest in all things mystical. Apart from his parish duties\, he ministers regularly to inmates and to people with memory disorders. \nNovember 18:  Heidi Thompson \nNovember 25:  Fr. Joe Muth\nFr. Muth is the Chaplain of Notre Dame of Maryland University. He was the Pastor of St. Matthew Church for 30 years. He brings to the University his experience of working with immigrants\, gay and lesbian people\, transgender families\, youth\, and the elderly. He is a good listener and reflects on the Word of God with those who seek his counsel. He also likes to laugh with those entrusted to his care. \nDecember 2:  Eric Clayton\nEric A. Clayton is an award-winning author\, speaker\, and retreat leader exploring the intersection of faith and imagination. His books include Where Wonder Leads: Finding God through Fairy Tales\, Myth and Contemplative Prayer\, Finding Peace Here and Now: How Ignatian Spirituality Leads Us to Healing and Wholeness\, and several others. He is the Deputy Director for Communications at the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States. Eric lives in Baltimore\, MD with his wife\, two daughters\, and cat\, Sebastian.  \nDecember 9:  Freda Marie Brown\nFreda Marie is a Lightworker\, truth-seeker\, healer\, crone\, retreat leader\, writer and a recently retired Episcopal priest. \nDecember 16:  Maggie Lears\nMaggie Lears is retired faculty from Towson University.  She is a certified intuitive practitioner and has been involved with the Well for over a decade volunteering in several circles and facilitating workshops exploring mindfulness\, meditation\, intuitive eating\, and the chakra energy system. \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Women at the Well: What's Love Got to Do with It? Rewriting our Stories Through the Lens of Love (In-Person Program)
DESCRIPTION:Many claim it is impossible to love others without loving ourselves. When we look at essential aspects of wholeness\, we find that caring for ourselves helps us better recognize the unshakable goodness in everyone and to love with fierce tenderness. Join us for a six-part series exploring themes of living in community\, self-compassion\, facing fear with love\, self-forgiveness\, setting healthy boundaries\, and whole-hearted living. \nDrawing from the wisdom of Gregory Boyle’s book\, Cherished Belonging\, Brené Brown’s book\, The Gifts of Imperfection\, and John O’Donohue’s book\, Anam Cara\, we will seek to rewrite our stories through the lens of love. There is no need to purchase or read these books to participate in the program. \nWomen at the Well is a spiritual companioning program open to all women seeking space to listen for\, become more aware of\, and respond to the Divine in their daily lives. This small group program includes time for reflection and sacred conversation in the community of other women on the journey. \nTwo sessions of this program will be offered – one In-Person at the Well and one Online.
