Today, in a hurting nation and world, people need a place like Well for the Journey (the Well) more than ever: nourishing the soul for the healing of the world.
Well for the Journey is a Lutherville, Maryland-based 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that encourages and supports spiritual well-being, connection, and community by offering both online and in-person, small group opportunities for engagement and growth. Through our annual calendar of soul-nourishing and self-care programming, we encourage and inspire individuals to explore, expand, question, and go deeper into their own spirituality/self-knowledge so that we can then connect with the greater reality as a global community.
At the Well, we were founded on a human need for connectedness – to oneself, to others, and to what many believe/hope – the existence of something larger than ourselves. We welcome all who seek connection. The Well is not associated with a specific religion or faith community. We welcome you, regardless of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or expression, veteran status, or disability.
We hold to the belief in and truth that we are all created as equals – loved deeply, and capable of offering this same love to all. The Well exists, nourished, and challenged to venture into new waters through listening. Because of this, we seek – through deep individual and community spiritual introspection – to affect and change systems so that equality for all will become reality.
